Driver Business Development Training
Sterling Chase and Team BRIT Racing are proud to announce the launch of the Sterling Chase Team BRIT Business Skills Academy.
Sterling Chase is sponsoring this programme which will provide professional development support to give Team BRIT drivers some of the critical business skills and the confidence they need to build up their commercial expertise.
Steve Eungblut, Managing Director of Sterling Chase, said:
“Sterling Chase is delighted to be sponsoring and leading the Business Skills Academy for Team BRIT. The way these seriously wounded people are showing such courage and determination to not only lead a normal life, but to aim to become the first disabled team to compete with the best professional teams from all around the world at the Le Mans 24hr race is a huge inspiration to everyone from all walks of life. They have survived horrendous personal injuries fighting for their country and they now need the business skills to develop the commercial side of becoming a successful racing team. Sterling Chase will give the Team BRIT drivers training and coaching support to enable them to connect with some of the world’s best companies and develop mutually valuable commercial relationships that will deliver their sponsorship funding goals.”
Dave Player, Founder of Team BRIT, said:
“To be successful as a racing team, every member needs to have much more than just driving skills. They need to understand the business side of racing, how sponsorship works and how to generate a commercial portfolio. This requires expert professionals to coach our drivers and why we are so pleased to have Sterling Chase partnering us in this academy.”
Richard Tovey, Team Principal and owner of Newbridge Motorsport, said:
“It’s long been accepted in motorsport that a driver needs far more than just driving ability to drive fast and be successful. Today’s complete race driver is a package made up of Racing Skills, Physical Skills, and Business Skills. I am delighted that the Team BRIT drivers have the opportunity to develop their business skills with the help and expertise of Sterling Chase.”
